Troubleshooting Mail and Facebook After an Upgrade Install:

I. Start with a restart.

Having just installed the macOS upgrade, restart the Mac.

II. Troubleshooting Mail Syncing:

A. Remove, then Add the Account:

Remove your eMail account(s) from your iPhone. Once removed, add the eMail account(s) back. It's worth a go.

B. Use a New App Password:

Do you use an App Password? If so, try a new App Password. Sometimes, changes (i.e. updates) are made to the device, and then mail server syncing becomes an issue (which is what a new App Password it intended to fix). As an example, go here for gmail: Sign in with App Passwords - Google Account Help - Google

III. Troubleshooting Facebook Logins:

A. Any Other Devices?

Try using this app on another device you own. Perhaps it needs to be removed, and then reinstalled.

I have a couple of thoughts to share. Since Sonoma is still in beta-release, we cannot comment on it. If you are signed in as part of the beta testing program, then you need to respond to Apple with whatever your problems are.

Also, I would add that Sonoma is an upgrade, not an update. Last, Macs use the Mac OS. iPads and iPhones use the iOS operating system, which is completely different.

What do you mean by Mac "Lite"?

It has been released as far as I can see.
