VOICE CONTROL POPPING ON (BLUE SCREEN) WHILE BEING OFF - IPHONE IOS 16.6

I have an Iphone 12 PRO.

Since the IOS update the voice control keeps popping on, specially with wireless earbuds.

Yes, I have checked the accessibility > accessibility shortcut and first it was ON, turned it off, but the problem continues.

Yes, I have checked the accessibility > side button and it is OFF

Siris is OFF too.

I have used different wireless earbuds to see if the problem are the earbuds but no, the problem continues.

I have also tried restarting the iphone and the problem continues.

The answer is not the accessibility option as it is OFF.

Any ideas on what to do? It's obviously very annoying as I can't listen to music with earphones.

Thanks.

Hi there nat_ga,

We'd suggest by updating your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 16, which is iOS 16.7. If the issue persists afterwards, try updating to iOS 17.0.2. If needed, learn how to update here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If this behavior continues after updating, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.
