Copying an entire text message on iPhone
And transferring the copy to another text message

It sounds like you are describing forwarding a text message. To forward a text message:
- Press and hold on the message you want to copy and forward
- Press "More..."
- Press the arrow in the bottom right of your iPhone
If you want to forward multiple messages at once, simply tap all of the messages you want to include after pressing "More...", then proceed with step 3 above.
