Exporting text messages from iphone to email or document WITHOUT Mac method

I need to export text message threads that will include date and time stamps to a document format and do not have access to a mac laptop so that method is not available. And I need the date and time stamps, plus who the text is coming from, so coping into a new message doesn't work bc it just copies the text with no indicators of who is speaking or dates/times. Would Apple or my mobile provider be able to assist in doing this if there is no way I can download or export my messages from my iphone? It is an iphone 15.

There really is no way to do what you want without a computer. You may be able to find records in your detailed bill on your carrier's website of the times and numbers of people you exchanged SMS messages with but it won't have anything about iMessages. And, it won't include the message content. The carriers don't keep that.

You don't need a Mac (laptop or otherwise) to transfer messages. You can use a Windows machine if you purchase third-party software such as iMazing or TouchCopy. Both will allow you to export your messages with time & date stamps to either pdf or text files.

Good to know.

I started using iMazing after PhoneView went out of business. While it does the job of archiving message threads, it doesn't do nearly as attractive a job as PhoneView did.
