Face ID Trouble

Okay

just bought an iPhone XR

Face ID was working perfectly

Then one day my iPhone fell into water

and the TrueDepth stopped working

so after some months

I decided to reset all settings in my iPhone

but to my very surprise

The Face ID tab was working

then I enrolled

about 1 year later

my sister mistakenly dipped the camera into water

and it stopped working once more

been hearing about suggestions like I need to force restart my iPhone

so it can reset the TrueDepth

I need assistance

is it true ?
