iPhone 15 Pro Max Photos Blurry

Easy solution- when you take the photo instead of clicking the white dot swipe it towards the left- mine solved the blurry dark photos

I bought it Apple online and exchanged in Apple Store, then I got iPhone 14 pro max from Costco, now I m quite happy ngl

So do you guys recommend having apple look at the phone regardless, I mean my back camera is good but the selfie camera is where it’s letting me down, unless I just swipe left and then it takes a decent photo, but my question would also be that before the photo is taken, the pic looks great and normal on live camera but it’s after the photo is taken it darkens a little and therefore it can suggest being software rather than hardware issue

This is my exact issue as well! The back camera still doesn’t compare to my old phone, but I’ve been even more disappointed in the front camera. I’ve suspected the same around a software issue, and pray it is resolved soon as I’d hate to return and get an older model again. My photos appear great, then once viewing them, look as though they’ve been edited or a bad filter has been out on them, it darkens and looks grainy even in great light, it still isn’t captured the same way it appears. Please let me know if you find my solutions.

I’ve been experiencing the same problem! I just switched from the 11 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max and the camera is terrible! The front camera isn’t focused at all, the pictures are low quality and blurry!

I’m extremely exasperated because I was trilled for my new phone but now I miss my old one more than ever

My distance shots are good. The 15 PM however is a nightmare to capture barcodes on receipts for rewards and getting photos accepted by my bank for remote check deposits.

Seems like trying anything closer is blurry which is completely wack for a phone that can take macro shots. Ugh.

Ugh. Mine too. Went from an SE which we all know was equal to a 6. Waited for a longtime to get 15 pro just for the camera in hopes of not carrying professional camera with me. Not sure where O am with return period

they say they will replace my 15 pro because i called right within the 14 days. the chat person said it would be fixed and i really hope so because i like you use it for high end and was expecting to use for work/art.

they said they can replace with a new 15 pro because i was within the 14 days. as an after thought i started new chat to confirm that the new one they will send will have the camera fixed. i use for art and work and need it to work or pointless.

did you buy yours in the states?

read an article today that popped up on google, so don't know if it is reputable.

Has anyone had luck with a replacement? Did it fix it? I tested 7 15s today. All the same issue.

If it does work for you, please share your manufacturing date. Maybe that helps others to find working phones also.

Update: apple switched to random serial few years back. So we can’t find date anymore. Bummer.

Settings/general/about.

”The serial number has a total of 10 characters. Spot the third, fourth, and fifth characters; these will tell you the year and week your phone was manufactured. The third character shows the year. For instance, 4 = 2014, 6 = 2016, and the following two shows the week, 07 stands for the 7th week of the year. “

I don’t wanna return my 15 Pro Max but I don’t know what to do with the camera! Either it can’t focus at all or either it’s too grainy!!

Apple support assistant suggested me to take off the screen protector and then use it but it’s not about the protector it’s about the horrible quality

i hope they can fix this through an update
