Can you turn this for an adult user ?

I can’t see how you can turn it on for just a regular user turned off for me presuming it’s because it’s children only and I have children in my family group?

Seems so: ie: as long as the device has the "TrueDepth" camera.


Apple support's online article:

Help protect your vision health with Screen Distance on iPhone - Apple Support

says:

"The Screen Distance feature in Screen Time uses the TrueDepth camera (on supported models)

—the same TrueDepth camera that powers Face ID"


  1. "Go to Settings  > Screen Time.
  2. Tap Screen Distance, then turn on Screen Distance".
