Automator Applications won't work in Ventura 13.6
My MacBook Air is managed by my school but I do have somewhat ok access to set up as I need. I've never had a problem with Automator actions in the past and it is not blocked now. (Adding a new printer, even USB, is a different story...it is very frustrating to ask someone else to complete a simple task! 🙄)
We recently got new devices running Ventura 13.6. I have to wait for access to download updates.
I set up Automator as I have done in the past. The two applications I run are "Split PDF" and "Render PDF Pages as Images". Neither application will work since upgrading to 13.6. Out of the box I think it ran a lower 13.x and my Automator tasks were ok...but it randomly stopped working after an update. I've deleted and started over several times but nothing works. I save the applications to the desktop, drag the PDF over the correct application, and the results are set to go to a dedicated folder on the desktop, named "Automator Results". Since upgrading to 13.6, it appears to work but doesn't show in my folder or anywhere else on my computer. I'm very frustrated and I haven't found a resolution on Google...please help!
