Ipone 13 pro max white screen

bought an iphone 13 pro max on febuary 2022 and after just 10 months of use, the screen flickered and started to have white screen. I sent it to an apple service center here in the philippines and they said they have replaced it, this was completed on december 27, 2022.

Fast forward another 10 months, on setempber 27, 2023, the screen is now appearing with the same issue but this time, it is out of warranty.

I keep seeing posts like this lately as there seem to be a lot of affected iphone 13 pro max users in the philippines and most of them have the same issue : white screen and out of warranty

This thing has already happened to me twice, service center told me that warranty for the screen they replaced is only 3 months, its been almost 10 so its out of coverage.

This always occurs during updates which is supposed to be positive.

I already contacted the service center but they said there would be fees on replacing this considering it is out of warranty. I work from home ever since covid and rarely ever leave the house for this unit to suffer any physical damage. It basically sits on a desk and only moves whe i bring it near me during dinner because i need to monitor any messages from my work.

Has there been anyone who actually got their replacement fee waived? Given that it seems to have stemed from a software update that apple themselves provided.
