Battery draining fast on iPhone 15 Pro

Second day with the phone and had to charge it twice today and it’s back down to 19% after normal use…No apps running on background or extended use, battery health at 100% 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I just got my iphone 15 pro max on Friday. Today is Monday and the battery drains like crazy. All I have done today is make a 10 min phone call, and use Instagram for 15 mins and my battery went from 80 to 68. This has never happened with any of my older iphones

@AngelinaWY ;

Apple should explain to us why we should necessarily do these hard resets in brutal mode, given that we are talking about brand new and almost virgin phones??

I've had the phone for less than a month and there is an annoying anomalous drop in the battery which consumes during the night without any physical use of the iPhone, and in the morning I find the battery with an exaggerated consumption, this situation on the phones is always annoying. batteries because there is no definitive solution to the resolution. I would like to point out that even by deactivating everything on the phone, it cannot solve the problem. I would like to understand what happens with the energy saving turned on. Did they fix something with iOS 17.3.1?? Can anyone give us an update on the situation? Thank you

Just wondering what support told you on call back? I am at that stage now where Apple admits there is a problem and support has escalated the issue to engineering. I have a call back scheduled at the end of the week. My iPhone 15 worked fine until 1-2 months ago - not sure what iOS version this occurred with. Currently on 17.3.1. My issue is not nearly as bad as others as I can go for almost 2 days without recharging but could go for 3 days before as my usage is very light. I charge to 100% then turn off wi-fi, cellular, bluetooth, background app refresh, location services, close all apps and shut the phone off. The following morning the phone is down 10% and continues to drain slowly without much use.

on my 15 pro it happened instead that last night I recharged it but not bringing it to 100% full charge but I unplugged it first, at 95%, then I didn't use it almost at all and after which I turned the phone off completely. This morning I turn it back on and I find the battery reaches 100% and after a few seconds it moves to 99%, without any valid meaning. Why is the battery behaving this way? I'd like to point out that I currently have iOS 17.3...

The store finally replaced my phone (pro max 15), as the battery problem got worse and it ended up completely dying. I couldn’t switch the thing on and it was just dead unit.

The replacement that I have seems to be fine. I’m only having to charge the phone every 2 days now.

It’s evident that this problem is NOT a software issue, but a hardware issue - more than likely a bad batch of batteries.

Apple not intervening and not releasing any Fix to urgently correct this battery drain is just embarrassing for this ****** battery problem, this problem has really become like a soap opera, every year we always repeat and review the usual problems on this issue and who that's not what he says, he just wants to lie and pretend nothing happened. Now we will have to wait for the release of iOS 17.4....

Just bought my iPhone 15 Pro on Feb 20 and been using iOS both 17.3.1 and 17.4 i can say that the battery drains so fast. And i'm only using it for phone calls, WA, IG, FB and common social media apps not even playing games on it. For a so called PRO phone ik it's only been half a month and in 100% BH but this is ridiculous.

Edit : They released iOS 17.4 yesterday, I only noticed it a little while ago, but reading the continuous reports that arrive, nothing has been resolved?? I can also think that there are production batches of iPhone 15s with defective batteries? Tell us what it could be?

Does anyone else’s phone also get hot it seems like when I use certain apps the back of the phone heats up like in the old days with older phones? I got this phone because the security was supposed to be better. I didn’t know I’d have to sacrifice performance and so many other things! I also found out by the way that we can scream yell, and Holler all we want on this feed an apple never sees it. If anybody knows where to go to make sure Apple sees it, please let me know.
