there is no option to share AirTag with my family. (the dog) what do I do?
how so I share the AirTag for my dog with my family? There is NO option to share although that is in the directions.

Airtag sharing is supposed to be a feature in iOS 17 but given that the above document has not been modified to reflect this it may not be fully implemented yet..
