Real time navigation on google maps

I use google maps when I commute in public transit because as it is more convenient for me. I noticed this issue from the very first day after switching to iPhone. When I get on the bus and press start navigation, there is a small bus icon that we can see at the initial point where the journey starts. This tiny bus icon should be moved along with the bus on each stops( that’s how it works on android). However, this is something that I miss on iPhones. I have been facing this issue for iOS 16 as well as 17.
