Outgoing email 'offline' and won't send. Incoming emails all fine

If it is a SMTP server issue, I would simply try a bit later...hrs/days and try again.

Server issues are out of your control and known issues tend to get resolved fairly quickly.

If in doubt query your mail provider for known issues.
