iOS 17.0.2 Update Requested - Stuck

This morning I tried to update my iPhone 13 Pro Max from iOS 16.1.1 to iOS 17.0.2. At first it looked like it was working and now it's just sitting on "Update Requested" in the status sections.

Any suggestions on how to get it to update fully to iOS 17.0.2?

My instinct is that it was working in the background rather than stalled or hung, but there was no change to let you know in the progress indicators. We don't know whether that background work was in your iPhone, waiting for a slot in the download queue, or on the remote server, but the delay for this build seems to be fairly consistent across many users.
