Can I purchase AppleCare after cancelling P360

We just powered on our new 15 Pros a few days ago. When I ordered all of them, I thought it was said by the tmobile person that Tmobile's P360 (which they said includes AppleCare (a major selling point to me)) it was $19 for the whole bunch, turns out it is not; it's $19 per device. I don't want P360 at that price, I'd rather have AppleCare straight from Apple for $199 for two years.

Tmobile's terms say I can cancel at any time.

On a 5 day old 15 Pro, when I go into Settings, general, about; It indicates they are covered by AppleCare already and purchase is not eligible. This might be the tmobile/apple partnership.

So that leads to a question, is there anything that Apple has in place which precludes me from buying AppleCare on a device which was once covered by Tmobiles P360; however no longer covered; if I try to purchase AppleCare through the phone settings through Apple Corp if I do so within the 60 days of first power on?

Thanks.
