Running:
MAC OS 13.2.1
Numbers v. 13.2 (7038.0.87)
Trying to print a sheet and page count shows 14 even though there is only 2 pages.
Page number is correct, but it seems to add 12 to the actual page count. If I shrink it all to fit on one page it shows 1 of 13, and if I enlarge it to use 5 pages it shows 1 of 17
Any ideas ?

We can't see what you can see. Can you post a screenshot? shift-command-4, drag to select area, release, start new post here and use the mountains-and-moon 'Image insertion' icon to attach the screenshot image file from the Desktop.
It seems quite likely that you have other objects on the canvas away from the area in which you have your other tables, and Numbers is trying to include those. You can try zooming out to see if there is anything else there.

You might try copying that Sheet and dropping it into a New Numbers Document. See if it behaves any differently. You seem to have a rather large document that you are printing from. The larger documents get the more likely they are to become corrupted. Unless all those Sheets are communicating between themselves, they might live more peacefully grouped into smaller documents.

SJ - Go ahead and Click Print... on the Print panel, then select PDF > Open in Preview. Look at the Preview document, turn on thumbnails, and then count the pages.

> Page Numbers:
o Continue from previous sheet
o Start at 1
If you want to print this sheet only you should mention: Start at 1

I have great difficulty reading the screenshot. How do you know you have exactly the same issue. What specific steps did you do take to set up pagination in what you are trying to print?
As I mentioned, I am unable to replicate the same result here.
