Hello xobanyy,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you have questions about messages in iCloud. If you use Messages in iCloud, you can find information about how it works here: Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices - Apple Support

If you don't use it, this is what iCloud backs up if you create an iCloud backup: What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support

"iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages

If you haven't turned on Messages in iCloud, your messages are included in iCloud Backup. If you use Messages in iCloud, your messages automatically sync to iCloud so they aren’t included in your daily backup."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Recovering Deleted Text Messages:

What to Consider:

A. Restore from Today's Backup:

Restore your iPhone from a backup of it that contains these messages, and you could recover them. Note that it would need to be of the same iOS as what is currently installed.

B. Check Messages App:

If messages was enabled on your iPhone along with your Apple computer, then check and see if the Messages app is enabled on your Mac to see if it exists in it. You'd start up your Mac, not connecting to the Internet, and open the Massages app. Then proceed from there with retrieving it. Important: Be certain you do not connect to the Internet while booting up, as syncing would delete it. So, power off your router to avoid the connection.

C. Log in to your Carrier's Site:

Logging in to my Carrier's site, I can see my message s going back 90 days. So, see if this works for you.

Elsewise, if they're gone, they're gone. That's just the way it is :(
