I am sleeping with my series 4 apple watch every night. I have sleep scheduled with an alarm at 6:30am. My phone overnight is being charged in a different room. In the morning the sleep alarm doesn’t go off on time. Anyone else experiencing this? Any workarounds?

First check, Open Control Center (swipe up on older software, or in WatchOS 10 press the Side Button) and check you don't have Silent, Theatre Mode, Do Not Disturb etc enabled by accident.
For testing, try charging your iPhone before you turn in for the night, and take it into the same room so you know for sure it is able to communicate with the Apple Watch. You could even try changing the alarm time for easy testing. A few minutes ahead is all you should need to setup each test in different locations.
