Reinstalling MacOS Monterey and stuck in boot loop

Upgraded the ssd in my early 2015. New ssd installed fine and was reformatted in disk utility before attempting to install Monterey. Install starts fine but then gets to apple logo and load bar goes down to about 26 minutes remaining and then starts again.

I have used the installer usb previously on my MacBook Pro mid 2015 and it was fine. Anyone know what’s going wrong?

What is the exact make & model of the SSD you installed? If you used an M.2 SSD adapter, what one did you use?

From reading these forums for years, it seems the only M.2 SSD adapter that seems to be most compatible & reliable is from Sintech.

Also, not all SSDs are compatible with all computers.
