Using EarPods with iPhone SE 3rd Generation?

I have exactly the same question as this 10-month old post:

Apple's website says that the EarPods are compatible with SE 1st & 2nd Gen, but not 3rd Gen. See here under "Compatibility": EarPods (Lightning Connector) - Apple (CA)
You can also see this here - the EarPods are not listed as compatible accessories for the SE 3rd Gen: Headphones & Speakers - iPhone Accessories - Apple (CA)
The previous poster contacted Apple Support by phone and they confirmed to him that the website was correct and that EarPods were not compatible with SE 3rd Gen.

I am not convinced this is really the case though. I still feel it is an error on the website.

Has anyone tried EarPods with the iPhone SE 3rd Gen?

And has anyone tried a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter? Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter - Apple (CA)

It is listed as compatible with SE 3rd Gen.

Hmm, if you are convinced that Apple is not providing you with correct information about the compatibility for their EarPods, why don't you just buy a pair as see for yourself? Should Apple be correct, you still have a 14 day window, from the purchase date, to return them for a full refund.

... and, if they work with your 3rd gen iPhone SE, you can let folks here know, and thank you in advance for testing this out.
