Background Color Help! - Every display went dark

My new kitten walked on my mac. Suddenly my nice light color display, tabs, screen saver, etc. all went to a darkish orange background with black background on any application or email etc. I tried changing night and day display but it seems to be more than that. What did my kitten do and how can I undo it? I just want light and bright colors again. Please help!

There is a contrast in >Accessibility>Display

look there as a possibility.... as well as others in Accessibility

Wow, thank you so much! Somehow in walking on my keyboard she checked the box under accessibility display for "invert colors" Not even sure how that is possible but at least I can see things again!

Ha ha — right....

ref: Mac keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support

see:

Control-Option-Command-8: Invert colors.

Control-Option-Command-Comma (,) and Control-Option-Command-Period (.): Reduce contrast and increase contrast.
