How can I fix my iPhone 14+ to not open to random apps when I take it out of my pocket when I’m running or just randomly taking it out of my pocket? Sometimes I will take it out and it will be in an app or messages or Home Screen search and I have not even used the faceid…

See if this resolves your issue: turn off tap-to-wake and raise-to-wake, and use the side button:

I already have the rise to wake off so I have to touch the screen to ‘activate’ the Face ID but tonight I noticed when I pulled it out of my pocket to check the time or how much time was left on a timer I would maybe accidentally press the side button or touch the screen when taking it out and it would already be in an app asking me if I wanted to undo something or send something or resume my timer…it’s weird I would think the screen would be black until I touched it to activate or initiate the Face ID right? Then take me to whatever app or screen I need. Tonight I pulled my phone out and I was already in twitter with my direct messages opened from like 3 years ago ready to respond to Dyson vacuums and I never needed to do the Face ID!! Lol!!
