iCloud documents empty

My MacBook upgraded to Sonoma the other day, I just noticed that my Documents folder is too small. All the folders are there but the files are gone? I checked the trash and deleted files but they are not there.

iCloud properties shows the correct amount of space used by documents, but they aren't showing up in Files on iCloud.com

Sonoma iCloud Desktop Folder is Empty Following my upgrade to OS Sonoma my Desktop Folder in iCloud appears to have no files. When I do a Get Info it says that it has 32 GB of data but I cannot see any files in Finder. Of course the Desktop Folder on my Mac also shows empty since it's a mirror of what the iCloud has. Desktop and Documents folders are empty on my Mac. The Desktop and Documents folders on Mac are empty. All the documents that used to show up on my Desktop are gone. I checked to make sure iCloud was properly set up, it was. I checked my MacBook to make sure the documents still exist, they do. I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1c. Everything was fine until sometime this afternoon. Can anyone help me.

Folders in icloud drive got completely empty I got a new macbook pro yesterday and after I transferred data from my old macbook air through the migration app, all my files inside the folders in icloud drive went missing. I don’t see the files on iphone or ipad icloud drive. My folders are empty. Pdf docs vanished. Is there a way to bring them back or should I use google drive and nor trust icloud anymore?
