Has anyone been able to make a bootable Installer for Ventura yet?

I have been having Finder issues ever since updating to Sonoma so I'm trying to downgrade back to Ventura 13.6. I've redownloaded the installer and formatted a 32gb flash drive in the proper format yet the instructions for terminal that I've been finding online aren't working for some reason. I keep getting terminal telling me that the volume can't be found. This is the command I've read to enter...

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia -- volume /Volumes/ventura\ 1

I know the paths are correct since I entered them by dragging the createinstallmedia file and the flash drive directly into the terminal window. Any suggestions? Other than trying to hire Anonymous to go after Apple for making constantly buggy software? JK LOL

Nevermind... Just saw in another article that I had to add Terminal to the Security/Privacy section to give it Full Disk Access. Would really help if everyone who writes articles instructing people how to create installable media via terminal would mention that. SMH LOL

Try renaming the flash drive to one word without a space. I've created a Ventura bootable drive successfully.

In my setup all apps including the Terminal ask for permissions for various folders automatically. I have never needed to manually other than accept that. At the moment the Terminal does not have "Full disk access" but it does have access in "Files and folders" to many folders including removable volumes. So maybe you have accidentally prohibited that in the past?

No I had never heard about Terminal needing access turned on or off before. I’ve made bootable usb drives easily before and never had volume access issues. I’m assuming it was something turned off by the Sonoma upgrade.

Well, glad you found the problem. The Terminal was already in Full Disk Access and enabled in my install. Unless I enabled it and forgot. That's possible, I'm old and forget stuff. 😎
