After upgrading to Sonoma, Safari displays all content in a black screen. If you scroll quickly, you can see the context briefly, but it is quickly covered by black again. Using Apple's page as a test, I can still click on random things (as I can't see them) and it appears the page is redirected, but I still can't see.
I've verified the settings in Safari mirror that of another machine that is working fine on Sonoma.
I THINK that's the commonality (FileVault is enabled). Ours are managed by Ivanti.
We have FileVault enabled on 1200 JAMF managed machines. In our Sonoma test group, we saw this issue on 3 out of 264 machines. 1 was intel, 2 apple silicon.

I have the same issue. 16" MacBook Pro (Jan 23), M2 Pro, FileVault not enabled, controlled by Jamf, Sonoma 14.1, Safari Version 17.1 (18616.2.9.11.9, 18616)
Except we STARTED seeing this when going from 13.6 to 14.0.
If you do an Internet search you'll find the issue appeared about 12 years ago. Lots of theories about the cause. No commonality that I could find other than it worked perfectly then it didn't.
Sonoma 14.1.1 did not resolve the issue.
I've updated to 14.1.2 yet Safari is still at Version 17.0 (18616.1.27.111.22, 18616). Anyone seeing a similar issue on the macs that have the black window while browsing?
