find my friend app doesn’t open the location in maps anymore why. I would Locate my friend and she’s at a restaurant and click on that place an would go into maps and open the. Address or menu but now it just goes back to the main page? But the same app on my wife’s iPhone Min 13 it works great but not a my iPhone 7+

So I did see a New App Find my friend but it will not work on the 7+ and like I said the old one works on my wife’s iPhone 13 mini she didn’t download the new one yet but it works fine and my daughter uses the old one and it worked fine and hop on just seems like it stopped on my phone iPhone 7 Plus and the new Find my phone app will not work on an iPhone 7 Plus
Again, given the iPhone has iOS 13 or later (it certainly should!) use Find My. If you claim it doesn’t work, please provide specifics.
The Find My Friends app became obsolete and superseded by Find My with the introduction of iOS 13 four years ago. You should have stopped using it then.
