Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I am having issues with bluetooth dropping the connection in my car and air pods pro since I upgraded my phone to iphone 15 PM and IOS 17.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my main phone and I can't take the chance of having unstable IOS build on it. Any suggestions or better yet can apple just make something that works as it should for $1200 thanks!

1. Apple released the iOS 17.1.2 update, which fixed the Bluetooth issues on iPhone 15 Pro.
Update iPhone to new iOS 17.1.2
2. Unpair the iPhone from the car.
3. Remove the Bluetooth HandsFree link from your iPhone.
4. Reboot iPhone.
5. Now pair the iPhone in the car.

Having had issues with static and dropped BT connections, with my week old iPhone 15 pro max. I contacted Apple support today who logged onto my phone, downloaded some logs. Asked me to wait a few mins then came back and said they were going to replace my phone. No explanation, as such that I could hear ( I have hearing aids and the BT connection was playing up! 😊). So get a new phone tomorrow. Personally very sceptical that that will fix it, but you never know!

I returned my 15 Pro Max and am back to using my old 13 Pro Max. Everything works fine. This was the only solution as nothing Apple Support had me try worked.

Regardless of what some shills on YouTube are saying, the iPhone 15 has been a defect-ridden device. I will probably pass on this and keep using my 13 Pro Max. It has no defects and is perfectly fine. With the iPhone 15 the "latest and greatest", is not so great!

OMG, me too. And this have been one month. Whenever I entered my car, the bluetooth devices will disconnect and connect again back and forth. And then, I headed to the Genius Bar, the staff run the diagnosis in their system end, but showed everything works fine(which is not), and then all they can do is reintall the operating system for me. That's it, and the bug is still there.

'Been following this thread for weeks.

'Tried everything that's been suggested, including installing (not the Alpha, but...) the B*** iOS. I'd write out the full word, but when I do, my post gets deleted.

I'm now awating my 3rd replacement iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Do I think the BT in that 3rd phone will work? No!

I don't believe it's a software issue. I think it's a hardware issue.

...and they're sure moving mighty slowly to fix it.

I'd suggst everyone reading this should make noise on Social Media about it.

iPhone 13 Pro here also having issues. Also on 17.2 having audio issues with my AirPods cutting out recently. It has been driving me insane thought it was my AirPods till I discovered I was having connection issues with all things Bluetooth and have since tested using different phones/ipads on different iOS and have not been having any issues with those on different iOS.

I moved from 15 plus to 15 pro max (silly but switched carriers so I got it for free) and am having terrible bluetooth connections. Car bluetooth is fine. But on both my AirPods Max and and Beats Studio Buds, my music will cut out and reconnect and calls will drop after 5 to 10 minutes. Done all the resets. Hoping we are sent a software update soon.

I am having the same problem with my iPhone 15 Pro (not Max) and my car's head unit (non CarPlay). The dealership has replaced the head unit with all firmware updates - under my car's OEM extended warranty. Bless it and the dealership.

The problem commenced with the new iPhone running all versions of the iOS from 17.0 > 17.2.1

It may be software.

But I am wondering if it is hardware - has there been a bad batch of Bluetooth modules included in manufacture?

I am wondering this because clearly, many of us are having this issue, but not everyone.

Has anyone had any success speaking to Apple about getting their phone swapped over?

I think this is my next trouble shooting step.
