Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I tried to write a post with my honest thoughts and how it's unacceptable to pay this kind of price and get a phone that doesn't work properly and Apple took down my post. So now I am posting this on every place in social media possible

I'm in the same situation, seeing the same thing with the cable as you are. It's just plain broken. I've never purchased AppleCare on a phone before, but something tells me that if I'm going to have this junk for the next couple of years I probably should get it. With the trade-in credit through ATT, I think it would be a mess trying to return it. I think I'm stuck with this garbage.

Cause they don't care about us but they want our money. Unless I get compensated for this headache and the loss of my messages for a few weeks this will be my last iPhone ever and same with my friends.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max is a piece of garbage! Bluetooth connections keep dropping in both of my cars and on a Bluetooth speaker. All of these connections work fine with my work phone and always worked fine with my iPhone Pro Max 13. It looks like I’m going to have to return this clunker and go back to using my iPhone 13.

i’ve called tech-support several times and they are clueless. Keep saying we’re going to escalated to engineering and then you hear nothing back. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a new mobile phone.

Apple still has not fixed this problem with iOS 17.1.1. This is a major defect and several people I know who have upgraded to the 15 Pro Max are experiencing the exact same problem!

where is Apple engineering through all this?

Yes, we all have the same problem. If this is a hardware issue they need to exchange all of our phones and compensate us heavily in dollars because this has been terrible and it is costing me a lot of business

Just my personal experience. And I can’t directly reference it as it’s still in testing, but the very very latest version you can install… actually fixed the issue for me.

At the office today and haven’t had a single issue with my Bluetooth :)

ios 17.1.1 bluetooh doesn't work, it always fails and going to the store to ask for a replacement phone says there's a problem with ios.
Apple could speak to its loyal customers.
Especially customers YouTube channels with a lot of followers.

Sadly not. Has been restored, repaired and updated many times. Apple engineers are now involved and have undertaking further Bluetooth logging diagnostics on my phone today and they are very interested in what is happening so clearly they found something in the initial enhanced logs that was sent to them a few days ago. Let’s hope they are able to find a solution to the issues.

That is an obvious recommendation. Updating to the latest version of iOS is the first thing anyone would do and the first thing that I did. Not sure how many times I need to repeat myself, but this is a defect with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iOS.

Apple support "claims" that Apple engineers are reviewing the logs from my phone as well to troubleshoot this issue. However, I will believe it when they get back to me with results of their resolution (or non-resolution). Actually I will be surprised if Apple even gets back to me. Their support has become horrible of late.

Mine does exactly the same, and it keep doing that also on IOS 17.1.1

It's very anoying not to have a working bluetooth conection between a car and a 2023 expensive premium phone.

This sucks and i'm very dissapointed by Apple, my old X worked just perfect, i wanted an upgrade and for €1500 i got a mess 😡

Hey! It happened to me too, on my iPhone 15 Pro. I would connect it to any car be it a 2012 BMW or a 2017 Toyota, it would play the songs perfectly fine, and I could listen to the conversation during the call, But the other guy wouldn't be able to hear me as the voice would always become distorted.

If you too are facing this exact issue then this may not be a problem with the Bluetooth but instead, this would happen when the Voice Isolation feature is enabled which has become even more enhanced in iOS 17. So all you have to do is that whenever you're in a call, swipe down from the top right to open the Control Centre, Tap Mic Mode and set it to Standard.

This fixed the problem I had whenever I would attend a call while the phone is connected to my car. And this fix is applicable for all iPhones running iOS 16 and above.

Fortunately I was within my carrier Verizon’s 30 day window to my return my iPhone 15 Pro Max! Good riddance to this piece of garbage! 😃 Today I restored my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s back to everything working fine! 😃 So happy I made this decision!

Of course I tried that! LOL Also reset network setting and everything else possible. iPhone 15 Pro Max is just a piece of garbage. On my way to the Verizon store to return it. I restored everything to my iPhone 13 Pro Max and everything is working perfectly again! I think I'll stick with the 13. It's in really good condition and has no bugs.

Maybe at some point Apple engineers with fix all the problems with the 15 Pro Max. But certain things like overheating, screen burn-in and Bluetooth issues may be beyond being able to be fixed by software updates. If they turn out to be hardware problems, then best to wait to see if Apple does any better with the 16.

How far Apple has fallen from delivering reliable, quality devices. Apple really has lost its way.
