Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

Trillion dollar company flagship iphone 15 pro max: bluetooth in car randomly disconnecting, bluetooth audio lagging, sometimes iphone just straight up stops being discoverable to bluetooth devices, sometimes the audio will just randomly come out of phone speaker while connected to bluetooth. My 5 year old note 10 performed better with bluetooth than this thing.

What they don’t get is we have to eventually upgrade everything. I’ll just start switching to Google stuff, starting with a new phone. If I switch I’m never coming back. I know I’m not alone here. I want my Bluetooth to work. This is old tech and there is no excuse for this performance.

Following this thread. I’m really frustrated at the moment. I have a 2017 Jeep with UConnect. My 15 Pro Max worked for about two weeks and now it just disconnects after a minute. I updated to IOS 17.1 thinking that would fix it, but no luck. I think 17.0.0.3 broke it. Seemed to be fine before that.

has anyone found a work around? It’s getting really tiresome listening to music and podcasts using the phone speaker.

Apple, can you please address the Bluetooth connection issues with iOS 17+. It appears to be an issue with everyone I know or have spoken to and it’s increasingly difficult to use the phone without this functionality. I was really hoping the latest update would address the issue, but it hasn’t made a difference from my experience thus far. Please help!

My case has been escalated to Apple engineers and they’ll be installing the diagnostic logs on my iPhone 15 Pro to see if they can get to the bottom of this issue. They did say they are aware of this issue so let’s hope they are able to find a fix for this.

I am also not having any issues with WiFi. We will have to wait for 17.2 or Apple to acknowledge and do a 17.1.01 release. I can say I currently do not see this being resolved before the end of the year.

I am going to call Apple support back and have my case escalated just so there is some traction on the issue. Kind of surprised MacRumors or another Apple-based news site hasn't picked this up. I do see people mentioning it on their forums but there are zero replies to the posts. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I hate to put a hole in your example but I went from 14 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max and my Bluetooth is a mess. Might have worked for you, but I do not think that is the problem or solution. Apple has a serious problem that they are not addressing publicly. We can only hope they are working to resolve behind the scenes.

They are working on finding the issue. Spoke to them today and they have done diagnostics logs on my phone and have had to send screenshots of when the problem occurs so they will be analysing these on Monday. So let’s hope they can find a fix.

Yeah. Don’t think anything will work. Let’s hope they find something from the diagnostics logs I have sent over to them and they can work on a software fix. Otherwise they have a serious issue on their hands with basically useless phones.

Since these guys at the shop had me do a fresh install on the phone I ended up losing text messages of about 4 years and I’m super stuck. Anyone have a solution? It was backed up to iCloud but won’t sink most of the messages for some reasons, only a quarter of them came back and this is now 2 days later

When I transferred via iCloud from my 14 pro to the 15 pro max the same thing happened. It was fully backed up but lost old messages. I kept the last text messages from my sister who passed at a young age 7 years ago. She came along with me over 5 other iPhone upgrades but lost her with this junk 15 pro max. Nothing has been Norma with this phone. I've had more issues with this phone which makes it the worst purchase I ever made. It's just disgraceful.

I was hoping mine would come back but after a month I'm going to say it's not happening. Again, Apple isn't the company it used to be. I feel they are not hiring the most qualified people like they should be.

Iphone 15 pro max running 17.1 os connects to bluetooth but doesn’t accept calls through bluetooth and doesn’t allow or have the option to switch from handset to bluetooth which it usually had from older iphones….. not sure if this was posted already but looking for a fix because this is just dumb…. Pls help!!

This iPhone cost me $1600 and is literally a piece of S it has tons of bugs, the Bluetooth keeps dropping the calls and doesn't work with dictation, and it's overall a disgrace that apple should not have rushed to bring out if they were not ready. This is the 15 Pro Max which is their elite version and model But yet it's much worse than my 13 Pro Max that I had before. The only reason I upgraded was because I wanted to go from 256 to 512. I am literally telling all my friends not to get this phone.

I am having the same issue. Apple Watch won’t connect. My Bluetooth speaker doesn’t even show up and the Bluetooth for my car key isn’t working either. This is stupid. I have only just switched from my 13 which was working perfectly!
