Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I am having issues with bluetooth dropping the connection in my car and air pods pro since I upgraded my phone to iphone 15 PM and IOS 17.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my main phone and I can't take the chance of having unstable IOS build on it. Any suggestions or better yet can apple just make something that works as it should for $1200 thanks!

I’m up to date on iOS 17.1.2 and still having Bluetooth issues. It’s nearly impossible to use Bluetooth in my car at this point.

I have the new iPhone 15 pro max and my beats my power Beats Pro won’t link up if I answer with the beats . Or if I ask Siri to call someone. I just found out if I ask Siri to call someone my blue tooth doesn’t work . I also just asked Siri to turn on the flash light and the flash light did not work . She told me the flash lights was on , but it wasn’t! I had to manually turn it off because Siri and the phone showed it was on but it wasn’t I had to click on the flashlight button twice for it to come on !!

My iPhone 15 Pro Max was having the same bluetooth problem of disconnecting from my car at random. I tried deleting the connections on both iPhone and car, and even reset the iPhone to no avail.

THIS FIXED MY ISSUE...I noticed in Settings-Bluetooth-MyCar that the Device Type was not set to any type of device. I changed Device Type to Car Stereo and that worked for me! It has been working normal since the change.

I have the same issue - iP 15PM iOS 17.1

Exactly same spot on entering a parking garage in Liverpool

Bluetooth drops and can't be restarted unless reset network settings

Tested 3 times now - exactly same spot as one enters through boom gate

Interference? But really bad that It locks up entire Bluetooth system

Anyone else - "location based bluetooth bug" or hack

This iPhone cost me $1600 and is literally a piece of S it has tons of bugs, the Bluetooth keeps dropping the calls and doesn't work with dictation, and it's overall a disgrace that apple should not have rushed to bring out if they were not ready. This is the 15 Pro Max which is their elite version and model But yet it's much worse than my 13 Pro Max that I had before. The only reason I upgraded was because I wanted to go from 256 to 512. I am literally telling all my friends not to get this phone.

Same problem with my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.1 Bluetooth connection in my car is constantly dropping during a call. Then if I try to switch back using the audio control on the phone app, it switches back, but there is no audio.

I was on a tech-support call with Apple for two hours today with no resolution. My work iPhone is an older model, also running iOS 17.1 and is working flawlessly connected to my car’s Bluetooth.

It is maddening! Why can’t Apple get something as simple as a Bluetooth connection in the car to work properly???

I had the same issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max disconnecting from both of my vehicles. I discovered that both bluetooth connections failed to set the Device Type and it was blank.

THIS FIXED IT FOR ME...Go to Settings-Bluetooth, then tap the info icon for your car connection. Then tap Device Type and Car Stereo.

After doing so, my car connections are solid again!

I'm in the same situation, seeing the same thing with the cable as you are. It's just plain broken. I've never purchased AppleCare on a phone before, but something tells me that if I'm going to have this junk for the next couple of years I probably should get it. With the trade-in credit through ATT, I think it would be a mess trying to return it. I think I'm stuck with this garbage.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max is a piece of garbage! Bluetooth connections keep dropping in both of my cars and on a Bluetooth speaker. All of these connections work fine with my work phone and always worked fine with my iPhone Pro Max 13. It looks like I’m going to have to return this clunker and go back to using my iPhone 13.

i’ve called tech-support several times and they are clueless. Keep saying we’re going to escalated to engineering and then you hear nothing back. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a new mobile phone.
