Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I am having issues with bluetooth dropping the connection in my car and air pods pro since I upgraded my phone to iphone 15 PM and IOS 17.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my main phone and I can't take the chance of having unstable IOS build on it. Any suggestions or better yet can apple just make something that works as it should for $1200 thanks!

1. Apple released the iOS 17.1.2 update, which fixed the Bluetooth issues on iPhone 15 Pro.
Update iPhone to new iOS 17.1.2
2. Unpair the iPhone from the car.
3. Remove the Bluetooth HandsFree link from your iPhone.
4. Reboot iPhone.
5. Now pair the iPhone in the car.

My issue is primarily with the bluetooth keyboard connection. It pairs, but I must hold down a character key for at least 2-secs to have it appear in the text box.

I've spent time in chat with both Apple and Logitech. No solutions apparent...even after a remote sharing attempt for possible problems with the OS or hardware.

All worked well with iPhone 13 Pro Max prior to my iPhone 15PM changeover.

I'm using IOS 17.0.3

I've had so many issues in the past less than a month with this 15 Pro Max that it has really taken all my Faith out of Apple. I would assume they are not hiring based on the best qualifications and are just making hires to fill a quota. Honestly how else do you explain the worst iPhone put out to date on the buggiest iOS ever released?! It doesn't take a lot of thought to put 2 and 2 together. Not only do I have the Bluetooth issue which I stated earlier, but I also have the overnight issue where I grab my phone off the charger in the morning and I have a black screen and it is unresponsive. No fix for that yet. This honestly may be my last Apple product. Apple fix your garbage!

Same here.

Because I have not yet exchanged my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the 15 trade-in process, I've been checking functionality between the two. Both have iOS 17.0.3...but the 15 is just not connecting to my bluetooth keyboards.

Wouldln't that indicate a hardware, not a software problem?

I think the 15 is going back to the ATT store until they get it right.

My iPhone 12 Pro running the same iOS version was having no issues automatically connecting to my car Bluetooth. I have “upgraded” to iPhone 15 pro and now I have to manually connect my Bluetooth every time I get in my car, then connection starts failing until it totally disconnects. Manually connect again and this is the same history every single day..........I can plug it by cable, but I spent too much $$$$ in my iPhone and my car wireless/bluetooth connection goes to trash......

In my search to eliminate all possible causes for my iPhone 15 Pro Max not connecting to a bluetooth keyboard, I finally purchased an Apple Magic keyboard. You'd think..... But, no no no. Still getting the same result: it pairs/conects, but I have to hold down a character key for at least two secs for the character to appear in any text box.

Same issues here. Wife and I both have 15 Pro Max running latest iOS 17 and we’re both having major disconnects and fail to connects on our (‘21) model Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator…AND all other BT devices connected therein which is numerous (all worked flawlessly before new phone/iOS update)! So very frustrating considering the $ paid and time they e had to fix this!!! HELP Apple!!!!

Well, I mentioned cl@55 @ct10n, and Apple immediately pulled it, but 67 posts later on this single thread about their $1200 nonfunctioning piece of tech they released, not to mention the countless other threads on the Bluetooth issues on this community as well as Reddit, and still no word or acknowledgment that they have an issue. Great way to conduct business! That's caring for your customers.
