Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

I am having issues with bluetooth dropping the connection in my car and air pods pro since I upgraded my phone to iphone 15 PM and IOS 17.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my main phone and I can't take the chance of having unstable IOS build on it. Any suggestions or better yet can apple just make something that works as it should for $1200 thanks!

1. Apple released the iOS 17.1.2 update, which fixed the Bluetooth issues on iPhone 15 Pro.
Update iPhone to new iOS 17.1.2
2. Unpair the iPhone from the car.
3. Remove the Bluetooth HandsFree link from your iPhone.
4. Reboot iPhone.
5. Now pair the iPhone in the car.

December 4th: Updated to 17.1.2. "Un-sync'ed" iphone and car infotainment. Rebooted phone. Sync'ed again car and iphone 15PM. Tried a phone call. Still not working!. The phone disconnects from the car at a few seconds of started the call, the call keeps alive in the car screen, just not connected to the phone, etc. Iphone is useless as a PHONE to make calls in bluetooth in a car. Super unsafe!!!!. I cant have hands free calls in my car, is this 2005?. One more proof that Apple does not uses the devices it sells...

F*ing Apple, cant make a simple call in bluetooth?!.

Sorry, I’m having a different kind of issue.

I will lose connection for usually 3 to 5 seconds. During that time, it’s complete silence, then when it reconnects, the music that would have played during that 3 to 5 seconds kicks back in but plays at double time until it catches up to where it would be had the music been playing consistently the whole time. Then it returns to normal speed playing. Almost as if you’re forcing the song to play faster until it catches up to where it should be.

I don’t get it, and I’m getting frustrated because of it. I’m constantly listening to music in my truck and I can’t without this interruption.

Agreed. The official 17.2 release doesn't fix it. Literally unusable as a phone with Bluetooth and also wired into CarPlay which I suspect has something to do with Bluetooth connection to my Audi's MMI interface. Calling Apple again as soon as the public release happens so they can't give me any more BS about unreleased software being the issue. I'm so steaming mad about this! It just makes my blood boil. But hey, the phone is almost carbon neutral, am I right?! 🤣😂🤡🤡🤡

This is making me regret upgrading from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the iPhone 15 Pro Max with this annoying bluetooth connectivity issues. It happens periodically, sometimes when I connect my blue parrot Bluetooth headset or my Beats by Dre earbuds or my Apple AirPods, I hear the CALLER on the other end but they can’t hear me. So I have to restart my phone sometimes more than once for people to hear me talk back to them. I don’t know if this is a iOS issue or a device issue but I hope it gets resolved soon signed , unhappy customer.

I followed steps 1-5. DID. NOT. WORK. Apple, please actually fix this. Your fancy & expensive new phone spontaneously disconnects from my car--and my APPLE TV device. Please create a post when you have some real fix to the problem. Don't bother with apologies or other noise. I'm currently a huge detractor of this device and I really want to be able to flip back to promoter.

I can now officially say I am on 17.2 on my 15PM and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! Wouldn't even connect in my car today. Tried my AP Pro's and the sound is still off. Very low volume and low-quality sound coming from them. I have pretty much lost all faith in Apple and will be calling back to Apple Support again tonight. I am beyond disgusted with this company. There is clearly no doubt they are not hiring the best and brightest and we are all suffering for that. I can't wait for the CALS!!

I agree. Changed AirPods Pro 3 times. Twice 13PM , upgraded to 15PM , still the same issue. I don’t even know how mane times I’ve set my phone as a new using iTunes. Nothing else and it’s always same explanation, there is nothing wrong with the be hardware or better one, where do you get this issue, all London, so please don’t tell me it might be some disturbance. So annoyed. Then it’s wait for the next update , now is 17.2 and it’s started with my 13PM . So how many more years to wait?
