I started using my iPad and Pencil for 5+ hours a day beginning in January. Since then I’ve developed a crippling pain in all 3 of my thumb joints. Could the electricity in the pencil be causing nerve pain?

Maybe you are gripping the Pencil too tightly?
Maybe you need to purchase some sort of soft grip, that goes over the Pencil, to have an easier grip with the Pencil.
Many types of Apple Pencil grips to be found online, in places, like Amazon.
The battery within the Pencil is tiny - about the physical size of eraser that you may find on the end of a wooden pencil. The power radiated by the built-in Bluetooth radio and the transducer within the tip of the Apple Pencil is tiny.
Probably a big part of the problem. Grips should come in 2 days. Thanx.
I’m thinking not in the sense that you could get an electric shock, or something like a fork in the toaster. But the pencil does have a battery that charges and serves to power the pencil. I’m just wondering (or supposing) if the power within the pencil can somehow affect the hand that grips it?Just a thought. Or possibly it’s all just ergonomics.
