This issue has been publicized on this forum since 2021.
Even with the new iOS 17, nothing’s changed.
While on a call and using another app, cannot get to the red hangup button. Sometimes the phone screen with the green Call button shows up, which is useless and wrong. The green call button should never appear during an active call.
Microsoft Word still has unfixed bugs from three decades ago.
Has Apple become Microsoft?

Though there may be many reports of this bug, out there. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple?"
So, Inform Apple of This:
Do your Part. Give Apple feedback on this. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what issues are occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your issue, if you don'r report it to Apple.
