I can't make stickers on my iPhone 14 Pro
I had this option. Now, I'm long press at object and add sticker appear but wont pop up after that so it is not possible to create it. Anyone knows why?

I had the same problem but I did as the tech support suggested and now it’s fixed. My problem was that I was using iOS 15 and I needed to have a new updated iOS system i think iOS 16 or higher is required but now after upgrading in using iOS 18. I didn’t think the tech supports suggestion applied to me because I thought I had automatic updates but I checked any how and found that I hadn’t updated in quite a long time. Now I can make stickers and several other things that were a nuance are now fixed. Thank you Apple tech support.

Hi irregram,
Creating stickers from photos is a function of iOS 17 per Make stickers from your photos on iPhone. The process to do so is listed as:
"Turn a photo into a sticker
You can turn the main subject of a photo into a sticker.
Have you checked your sticker drawer for those that you've attempted to create? Are you running the latest version of iOS 17 for your device? If so and still not finding those, check Screen Time restrictions to ensure there are no features blocking this action and then contact Apple Support directly to investigate further.
Regards.
Easy way I’ve found is to open a text and when you tap the + icon it reads stickers you click on stickers then tap the + icon on that and it will access your photo album(s) and you just click on the photo you would like to create into a sticker doing it this way it highlights most images for you including Live Photos automatically as well as lets you know which images can’t be made into a sticker…
I was having the same problem. The object in the iPhone photo was highlighted but no menu came up to copy, make sticker etc.
I held my finger on the image for another few seconds and that seems to fix the problem.
I use an iPhone 11 Pro and latest updated iOS.
I recently purchased iPhone 16 and today discovered I had this issue. My wife also has iPhone 16 and she has no issue. As with other issues I’ve had in the past with previous generations of iPhone and iOS, I just rebooted (turned off, on) and the problem has resolved.
✅ Here’s a workaround that worked for me:
Let me know if this works for anyone else! 🙂
Nope, mine has been fixed. You might need to check if your on the latest software update (IOS 18.2) or just restart your phone
This issue had been fixed for the IOS 18.2 update.
Found an easy fix. The option to create a sticker refused to appear like many of you, however what I did is I went into a photo editor, cut out what I wanted as the sticker, saved the new cut out version to my phone, went to messages, clicked the plus symbol in the corner, clicked stickers, then add stickers. Now, everything I wanted as a sticker is a sticker. Your welcome.
I found another way to add stickers :)
go to whatsapp, press the sticker drawer, press +, go to chosen photo, tap on it, and sticker goes to the person, plus fets added to your stickers..:):)
Check your iPhone storage by going into Settiings > General > Usage
sometimes I’ve encountered similar issues from little free space. Also try to update. Are you still having this issue?
Make sure the Photo you are trying to make a sticker from is a “Portrait” photo. Mine wasn’t working. But now found they need to be “portrait”
I have the same issue too, just tested it on my newly updated IOS 17.4 iPhone 15 Pro. I'm able to select a part of an photo I want to create a sticker from but when I select Add Sticker it appears in the sticker draw for a second then disappears. What is odd is that I am able to create stickers on my iPad Pro without issues. Stickers created on my iPad do not show up on my iPhone, the sticker draw there is always empty.
I opened a call with Apple in December who were initially very helpful, we tried several ways to fix the issue which included removing my VPN software and Microsoft Defender. The thought was that the issue was iCloud related and that these apps might be blocking the upload of the sticker. I also sent screen recordings that demonstrated the issue and uploaded many logs that Apple requested. I was told that they would get back to me but have heard nothing since late December 2023...
A response from Apple acknowledging this issue would be helpful.
Clearly the issue still isn’t fixed. I have a 16 with latest software and my stickers are created for about 5 seconds, then they are gone. I even tried to make and send one from Messages and that didn’t work either.
EDIT: There is an update available 18.2.1, but it hasn’t shown up on my phone naturally, but I pushed for updates and requested. 🤞🏻
If you go to ur camera roll, try holding down the object u want a sticker of.. it’ll pop up the option to copy, add sticker, or share. Just figured it out as some new saved pictures wouldn’t come up on my stickers in messages…
