FaceTime not working unless I’m connected to WiFi

It won’t let me FaceTime unless I’m on WiFi and I turned off WiFi calling and it still won’t let me and I have two or three bars

So i got it to work after having the same issue, what I had to do was go to Settings<Cellular<Network Selection, I turned off automatic and choose the network. In my case it was two that said T-Mobile, I clicked the first one, tried facetime, issue persisted, then I clicked the second one that said T-Mobile and tried facetime, it worked. If I had to guess its a bug with Apples automatic network selection when trying to make a facetime.

I originally thought it was isolated to

people on T-Mobile. Now I know people unable to make FaceTime calls on cellular who are on Verizon and ATT. So it’s obviously an iOS 17 issue. Apple continues to tell me it’s a T-Mobile issue. Apple is literally forcing me to use Facebook messenger to make video calls. Pathetic I spend $1800 on an iPhone 15 pro max and to make video calls on cellular I can’t even use FaceTime. Apple needs to fix this **** issue. I actually have three support tickets open with Apple, but no fix yet.
