How to update my iPhone 7 Plus to iOS 16?

The iPhone 7 cannot be updated to iOS 16.

Not sure why you were expecting a different answer to the same question.

If you have an iPhone 7 and you want iOS 16, there is no help for you. iPhone 7 is simply not capable of being updated to iOS 16, period.

You need an iPhone 8 to run iOS 16.

You can ask, beg, plead and anything else that you can think of, but the iPhone 7 will never be able to update to iOS 16.

If you have an iPhone 8, you can use iOS 16.

If you have an iPhone 7, you cannot use iOS 16.

Nope. Not happening. Yet newer iPhones have been de-supported from yet newer iOS.

The Instagram app requires iPhone 8 or newer.

If you have issues with the requirements for that or another app, contact the app vendor.

Or acquire a newer (used, refurb) or new iPhone.

You realize you are speaking with someone who wants to put iOS 16 on their iPhone 7, right? If they can't run iOS 16 on an iPhone 7, how would you even presume they can get iOS 17, no matter how much money they bring, unless you were suggesting they buy a new iPhone?
