Fix Ethernet: Authentication server is not responding.

For context:

I live in an apartment dorm, so trying to use the college's ethernet.
My ethernet can't connect due to the authentication server not responding.
current version: Monterey v12.6
chip: Apple M1 Max

Is there any tips and tricks to fix it?

if your battery has recently run flat, it could suggest your Internal TIME is incorrect. You need your time to be within five minutes of Internet time, or you can't make any secure connections for anything.
