No Service after iOS 17.0.3 Update

i got a notification to update my iPhone 14 promax to iOS 17.03 which I did. After the update, my device has been displaying no service. I have done all the recommended solutions on google ( removed and reinserted the sim, reset settings, hard restart, no iOS update). Is there any other option to explore?

Can you please advise me if you have found any solution?

I upgraded my 12 pro to 17.3.1 the other day and the network is gone too.

Exactly, unnecessary stress… I don’t mind social media at all but I need maps and other apps to go to the forest, hiking, etc… Imagine if you working with internet and stuff?

This iOS also drains my battery and my phone shuts down during the evening out of nowhere. I mean, if the next iOS doesn’t fix these issues I’m getting another phone, no more iPhone, I’m already that upset by these iOS errors…

Could just be my overactive imagination but the whole situation seems incredibly sketchy. How could an iOS update either,

A.) Glitch the phone out to detect critical water damage.

B.) Make preexisting water damage destroy the phone.

C.) only glitch some phones to completely break to where Apple must give you an entire new phone.

None of those really make sense, and it makes me thing that Apple put out a bad update, possibly to generate revenue, and is trying to cover their tracks by claiming the phone is water damaged. Again I’ve never even submerged the phone in water. If it was truly water damage, then these phones need to be reinspected for their water resistance because I did nothing outside of the parameters of their advertised water resistance. That or they just boldfaced lied to me. Genuinely been debating about switching phones because of this. No real explanation, no real cause other than a faulty update. The phone I have now is running on iOS 17.0.3 completely smoothly, so it really doesn’t make any sense unless it was manipulation on Apple’s part.

iOS updates have rendered my 13 pro max useless for calls or texts. SOS will only show for service. Error message also saying no SIM card. Thwarted at every turn when I try all of the recommended fixes. Tried connecting to iTunes on home computer, but that doesn’t work because of phone saying no SIM card, so home computer doesn’t recognize device.

Another data point...

On an iPhone 14 (I believe), it seemed to possibly be having similar issues however the phone had not yet updated to 17. I don't have direct access to the phone at the moment so some of this is from memory but...

As I recall, the About on the phone had one of the newer 16 iOS updates and not 17.

Maybe there was something from 17 backported to the 16 line or a similar change made in both versions causing the problem. Maybe that could isolate things some.
