No Service after iOS 17.0.3 Update

Hi!

Sorry to disappoint you all but I just updated to IOS 17.1

As expected at this point, no improvements… No mobile service at all. I’ve also tried everything again (restart, reset network…) with the new iOS but nothing good happened…

I am changing phones straight away… iPhone is going to the trash, even though I have and love my MacBook… Good luck with your iPhones guys… Really upset…

Update:

It's been a week, my iPhone back to normal again. Can read SIM card and the network is fine.

Apple team contacted me, i explain the situation, but they also were not sure what cause the problem, since somehow my iPhone is working back out of nowhere.

I havent updated to 17.1

Looks like same thing is going to happen with me, I have submitted my device for 3rd time today last two time they returned saying issue is not reproducible able they perform software restore in factory. But every time I perform the update and that update include modem update same issue comes back...

i have iPhone SE2 after updating iOS-17.1 it does not connect to network only shows "SOS Only" its quit disturbing as i don have any other phone and cannot afford to buy new, does any one facing similar issue.

for solutions i did

*_Restart

*_Network reset

*_My sim is working on other phone (friends)

*_Cellular data/service ON/OFF

*_Not Blacklisted (checked both imei)

*_Soft reset (Vol +/- Power button)

*_Turn Off for 8hrs

Apparently this is not just an iOS 17 issue.

Just upgraded my like new iPhone 6s Plus from 14.something to iOS 15.8.

After the update signal strength / signal is in the toilet.

Where I was seeing 1 and 2 bars with iOS 14 I now see NO SERVICE.

WiFi is working BUT for some reason when NO SERVICE is displayed then WiFi Calling is not functioning / available.

This seem to be some bug introduced by Apple. Unfortunately they will likely ignore it and those searching for a fix in a effort to sell a new phone. Great for the shareholders I guess.

Apple has sent my device back again 3rd time without servicing it. They are saying they did not found any issue, but when I get the device back and try to update it again cellular service shows error. Please help me.

I have the same issue with a new (renewed) iPhone 11. Problem seems to have occurred after the phone performed one (of several) iOS updates. Phone is currently running 17.1.1.

I tried calling Tech Support for my carrier (ATT pre-paid) two times. Both times they were able to resolve the issue temporarily. Restarting the phone caused the problem to occur again.

Has anyone been able to prevent the issue by resetting their phone to factory settings, and then NOT allow the phone to do any iOS updates?

same here.. after installing iOS 17.0.2 for my iPhone 15 (45 days old) all network connections and all contacts went missing. very frustrating. Given repair for authorized vendor and they need minimum 7 days!... I don't know what kind of service they do.

After update 17 my phone was slower than dial up. I tried everything listed out there and nothing worked. Then I switched to from 2.4 to 5gig hertz router and now everything works great. Well this works for me.

Right after i updated to IOS 17.3, this problem came up. The cellular is on but no service, can see other networks meaning not my motherboard or the cellular band problem. Maybe there's a bug that not everyone have only the selected ones. I can't call nor text and i need it so bad cause this is my only/work phone. Without the cellular can't have internet so i can't do my job. I did all the basic stuff and even went to the nearest apple store for a services, even the technician there don't know what's the problem and asked me to contact the advisor again. I don't have enough money to buy a new phone Apple. Please Apple fix this or atleast give me a new phone since it's not the owner's fault :(

I just updated my ios to latest 17.3 on iPhone 13 pro. Lost network, tried airplane, switch off, sim re-insertion and network reset. Nothing worked and added stress by losing important wifi networks, etc.

what is the solution guys?

iPhone 15 pro day after 17.3.1 update no mobile service and the screen in ‘mobile service’ is totally blank. I’ve tried hard restarts, resetting network settings. Nothing works.

frustrating - this iPhone has been glitchy since the start. Android looking appealing for the first time ever.

I have the same issue following update, when I go into settings then about it says there’s no physical sim. How can I wind back to previous hardware? My network is sending me a new sim but I doubt it will resolve the problem.
