There doesn’t seem to be a way to set up or turn on an out of office message in Apple Mail on an iPhone in iOS 17. The solutions I have found on this forum seem to longer be in effect. Any suggestions?

This isn't a feature supported by the Mail app on iOS.
Is this an iCloud email address or another email address? Normally, these types of rules would be best set on the mailbox website. The mail server having those settings means that this could all occur as soon as you receive the message rather than waiting for a synced device to apply rules.

I figured that might be the case. Yes the email address and question Gmail address does seem a bit odd that you can do it in macOS and not an iOS. I suppose that’s just the way it is. Thanks for your reply.
