Fujifilm X-T30 RAW Format cant be read via Fotos

Fujifilm X-T30 RAW Format cant be read via Fotos, also totally uncompressed, without sports mode on....doesnt work either. Its possible to get a preview in the Import/upload section, but disappears when you import the pics. Camera is a Fujifilm x-T30II, mentioned in the compatibility page, so should usually work, maybe ther´s someone out there who can help me in this case...otherwise i have to switch to another App, which would be to bad because i like Photos as an archive for my pics to zap through them.

The RAW support is specific for each model. Your Fujifilm X-T30 II is a different camera from its predecessor, the FUJIFILM X-T3, so it needs a different RAW support. And the newer model is not yet on the list of current RAW support

Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma – Apple Support (UK)

You will have to wait, until the RAW support for your camera has been added, and hope, it will receive RAW support.

When my new camera did not get RAW support by Apple I converted the RAW files to DNG files with the free Adobe DNG Converter. I could still develop them like RAW files, but could import them to Apple's photo libraries and also sync them with iCloud. It is just an extra step, but otherwise worked well.

Since then I am always waiting with purchasing new cameras, until I can be sure that the camera model has RAW support by Apple.

Ok, thanks, sounds like a solution, if its possible to convert hundrets of pics at once this may be a way. I will try that. The Fujifilm GFX S50II is a model which came out 2021...so in a few days old-tek as well... to buy older cams would be cheaper but a little bit out of scope as well ;).. in this one it seems more like a case between Fujifilm and Apple :)...and my way through it as well :)
