Why does the iPhone 15 pro turn on immediately by pressing one working button. without retention. Just press it and it turns on immediately. this is mistake? or is it supposed to be like that?

Just checked mine because I don’t pay attention to how long it takes. A quick press doesn’t power it on. But hold it for about 2 seconds and then it comes on. That’s on par with how it’s always been for me prior to the 15 Pro Max.

What button are you talking about? And what do you mean by turn on; do you mean wake up from sleep, or turn the phone on if it is completely powered off?
My iPhone 14 turns on if I hold the button for about 2 seconds and release it.
