Ios 17 software issue

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 

(2)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.

I suppose one way to fix the problem would be going back to the last (trouble free) operating system. I’ve hesitated to try that approach as it looks difficult and I’ve been warned it could cause more problems.

So I’ve waited and updated hoping that this trillion dollar corporation will figure out how to make an operating system that works.

I have the same issues after downloading iOS 17. Phone runs hot. Apps (including Safari, iMessage, Apple News and others) crash or open as a black screen, then crash. Battery also drains faster than before. I have tried shutting down and turning the phone back on and that seems to help -- for a while. But the problems always come back -- as in the same day. I also have a problem with wi-fi. It takes a while to connect to the wi-fi signal after turning it on or sometimes after it comes out of sleep mode.

I wonder how long it will take -- and how many updates -- before these problems are fixed? I have an iPhone 13, running the latest software and updates, so the operating system should be able to work on it.

Even I am facing issues with using the apps, it is really annoying as the issue started after updating to ios 17. The update should fix issues and not create new ones.

I already tried all the steps, however no response from the support team as well neither force restart helped.

Any other suggestions?

Anyone else has this issue and slow keyboard or even glitchy apps that will be very slow to open and close?

By the way, I have updated to iOS 17.0.3. Also, I keep all the app updated as soon as updates are available.

I also am facing the similar issues and it is really annoying.

iPhone 14 iOS 17.03 several apps open then crash, tried restarting the normal and forced ways neither fix the issue. Wish I could go back to iOS 16

I feel the same way. iOS 17 has been a disaster. 16 worked just fine.

I have tried everything. I can't even use the app store to check for downloads! Nothing but cell and text message are working.
