iOS 16 screen bug?

So I just updated to iOS 16 on my XR. Whenever I try turning on developer mode, my phone restarts but the screen stays turned off. Putting the charger in it makes the charging sound as usual. The screen stays off and doesn’t come on unless I hard reset using the volume + power buttons, and when I return to the developer mode menu after doing that it says it's still off, anyone else having this problem?

iOS 16.0.2 is very buggy Sometimes UI was 120% larger than the phone screen. Reboot the phone to fix problem. Sceen rotation when screen locked sometimes stuck half the screen. Toggle power key (sleep/wake) to reset. Photo editing sometimes stuck permanently. Close photo app from multitasking to reset. Apple ID verification message keep show up every reboot. Paste Text is still keep asking permission everytime. Keyboard sometimes unresponsive and not show up. Camera App crashing is more frequent. iOS 16 overall performance is unstable.

I fixed the problem by DFU restoring my phone using itunes, if anyone else having this problem try that to fix it

Why would you run it on developer mode?
