Macbook Pro M1 Touchbar not showing up

Greetings! I'm a newcomer to the Macbook Pro M1 world, having made the purchase in December 2021. I updated to MacOS Ventura a few weeks ago. Today, I noticed that my touchbar isn't lighting up. When I press random keys, the functions appear on my screen, indicating it's functional. I attempted to install the latest MacOS Sonoma 14.0 version, but the touchbar light remains unresponsive. Could someone please guide me on how to resolve this and bring back the light to my touchbar? 🙏 Thanks in advance!

Typically it indicates a hardware issue...

if it were software, rebooting or a safeboot would bring it back to life.
