For apps on a mobile device:

1. Open the App Store app

2. Select Updates, or select your icon in the upper right corner

3. Click update all or scroll down past the first screen to select individual apps.

If you are having problems you need to provide details, including the exact wording of error messages.

You say something about an "old account" but what exactly is the problem with it?

● If a message says "your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes Store" or "You cannot login because your account has been locked", then you must contact Apple; you cannot resolve this yourself. Apple provides a link for this specific issue. Tap or click here ➞ https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&PGF=PGF63005&category_id=SC0245&symptom_id=23362 .

● If your account has been disabled for security reasons the solution is to reset your password as outlined in this document: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you find you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery (read this support article: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support ) to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity.

Hello,

if you mean some apps was downloaded with a previous Apple ID you have few solutions :

  • enter the password of the previous Apple ID
  • Delete and re-install the app

⚠️ the second choice will delete all data from the app, if you want to save your data from the app please go to:

Settings, General, iPhone Storage, scroll and tap to your app,

tap offload app,

Go back to Home Screen and redownload the app from App Store app
