My iPhone 15 Plus is not Titanium
I assumed that all iPhone 15s were titanium but I just received my 15 Plus and it feels like plastic. Is this model made of plastic?
Thank you.

The iPhone 15 Pro models use the titanium chassis. Your iPhone 15 plus uses glass back and aluminium frame. From the Apple web description,

The innovative new design features back glass that has color infused throughout the material. A custom dual ion-exchange process for the glass, and an aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure, help make iPhone 15 incredibly durable.
KiltedTim,
Maybe YOURS isn't plastic but mine is.

It could be that's not a genuine Apple iphone, where did you get it from?
I upgraded through AT&T. I'm contacting them now.
MTXX3LL/A and when I click on it it becomes A2847, which IS an actual model number for U.S. and P.R.
D'oh!

I've got the iPhone 15 black and it's 100% plastic as well. The sides are also plastic and I bought my one in England.
I thought it was plastic but I just tapped my tooth on it and it now feels like metal so I assume it is titanium.
Hello ~ Yes… that was clearly pointed out on the first page if this thread that by the way was posted back in October of last year.
