Stocks.app stopped working on MacMini after Ventura upgrade. How do I remove or reload?

I've tried everything I can find. I can't figure out how to get to the com list or plists otherwise that would do it. (Not as easy to get to in Ventura). Any one have any idea how to get this resolved? I was able to remove the app today, using app zapper. However, since the icon still exists and it still exists in the applications, I assume it still exists. Works fine on the iPhone and iPad, so 99.99% of the solutions I've seen on line is to fix or remove on the iPhone or iPad. Not the problem. Any way to get to the plist? That might do it.

It's frozen on 9/18. Can't create a "New list" or "manage lists" they do not appear. If I create a "new list" of one stock, I can see it one time. Then it reverts to being frozen. And the original list is still on 9/18, the date I upgraded/migrated from a MM 2014 to the MM2.

The Stocks app is part of the system and can't be deleted. Don't know what app zapper deleted but it may have been some of its 11 supporting files.

Try to rerun Stocks and see if it will run. If still not correct give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

Thanks. I don't know what you mean by "rerun" the app because there's no way to remove it to "rerun" it unless you mean relaunch it, which I've done numerous times.

The App Zapper removes all the files cleanly (as opposed to attempting to remove an app by dragging to trash).

I just tried to launch it again (obviously the files are still there) and I'm still in September 18th :-)

I'll try the safe mode when I have a couple hours to kill on something so absurd.

I'm going to get into the library and delete the plists. That might fix it.
