I own an Apple TV 4K and was wondering whether it is possible to connect it through HDMI cable to a projector while connecting the Apple TV to a couple of HomePods through Airplay.
Could you please tell me whether this set-up would work and not generate lag between audio and video?

the fact that it's a projector rather than a normal tv should be transparent for the appletv it just sees a hdmi connector which meets the required standard.
