Retrieve Apple Cash

I gave my 15yo son permission to use my Apple credit card. He accumulated cash back on Apple Cash however he was never able to figure out why we couldn’t connect him to Apple Cash. He’s no longer w us and I do not have access to his iPhone/AppleID. How do I get the funds from his Apple Cash account to my Apple Cash account?

How to retrieve Apple Cash sent to a non-tech-savvy recipient? I sent my son my Apple Cash some time ago, as a little surprise fun money thing, but he's not tech savvy and can't figure out what's wrong, he can't access it. Did your son add the card to his iPhone or was he using the titanium Apple Card?
